Top Shelf International’s (TSI) portfolio of distinctive premium spirit brands have walked away with a swag of medals, including the coveted Vodka and Whiskey brand of the year awards, at the 2022 Melbourne International Spirits Competition, along with multiple accolades for individual products.

NED Australian Whisky was named Australian Whiskey of the Year after claiming multiple gold medals in the category for both NED WANTED Loyalty and NED WANTED Honour, while Grainshaker was named Australian Vodka of the Year after picking up a rare Double Gold for Grainshaker Corn and a Gold for Grainshaker Rye.

Top Shelf International CEO Drew Fairchild was thrilled to receive the recognition for the TSI portfolio at an international competition.

“We have always been confident our brands can compete with the best in the world and we are delighted to be recognised in an international forum that is judged by industry experts,” he said.

In addition to the individual awards and gold medals, Grainshaker Wheat picked up a silver medal, whilst NED WANTED Ingenuity claimed a bronze medal.

The Melbourne International Spirits competition is part of the International Beverage Competition Series – the only International Beverage Competitions judged solely by trade buyers.
